The suffering of displacement and siege did not prevent the children of Afrin from creativity
Under the slogan “When Oil Became Tears”, the Afrin Social Association held an exhibition of paintings drawn by the fingertips of the displaced children of Afrin in the city of Qamishlo at the Muhammad Sheikho Center for Culture and Art.
In the paintings they expressed what they faced during the Turkish war on Afrin and their hopes of liberating to their homes.
Many public figures and members of institutions and organizations attended the exhibition.
The exhibition started on Thursday 5-1-2023 and is still in place until today, Saturday 7-1-2023 at 5:00 pm.
